Reformation 500th Anniversary Hymn Sing and Organ Recital – Sunday, November 12, 10 a.m.

Dr. Paul T. Barte, associate professor at the Ohio University School of Music, will lead the hymn sing and perform various organ pieces to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. At OU he teaches organ and harpsichord, organ literature and pedagogy and music history classes. He was the 2005 recipient of the School of Music’s Distinguished Teaching Award.

Welcome to Hope

Hope Lutheran is a small worshiping community on the East Side of St. Paul. We have a heart for building relationships right in our neighborhood. Whether it be through block parties, free lunches, or community gardens, we are finding new ways to be church together. Most recently, we have partnered with Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, a Hmong-speaking congregation. Together we will worship and minister on Sunday mornings and throughout the week — creating a place where all are welcome.
